Boat rack. Overlooks the old dockyards on Cockatoo Island, at the confluence of the Parramatta River and Sydney Harbour. Nice day, coming after yet more flooding through the same places on the state’s north coast 700km from Sydney that suffered devastating floodwaters just a month ago. La Niña continues to wreak havoc. While it pales in any comparison in a world gone mad, 22 people drowned and there are currently 20,000+ homeless ‘internally displaced climate refugees’ from just one town alone. It’s really happening, right now. Balmain.
