Women in America, even the majority of pro-lifers, do not think they should be forced to give birth to their abusive father’s child. They don’t think they should be denied medical care when they’re having a miscarriage or carrying a fetus with fatal anomalies . They don’t think they should be denied IVF if they want to have a family. They don’t think they should be treated as if they are nothing more than a vessel for the purpose of birthing some man’s offspring. We stopped believing all that a very long time ago. Whatever happens in the next few days with this election, it’s important that we all keep in mind the stakes. We’re not up against Trump alone. He is the figurehead for a fascist movement that places natalism and patriarchy as one of their highest priorities.
