It happened on a weekend. While representatives of the two nations were still negotiating, a fleet of aircraft carriers from one of the negotiating parties approached the territory of the other.
Acting with cold premeditation, early in the morning of that fateful day, the attacking forces did their deed causing devastating damages on the other side.
As it turned out, the negotiations were merely a cover, a deception, to fool de victims.
It was treachery.
But it worked.

Although none of us was alive then, I am sure you won’t be surprised if I tell you that is what happened on Sunday, December 7th, 1941. In the immediate aftermath of the attack on Pearl Harbor, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, US President then, uttered the title of this post.

He was spot on. His words reflected not only the justified outrage of the American people, they also quickly became universally accepted.

Judging, however, by the piss-weak inanities we hear from our cowardly political masters and from the pompous idiots that form the “intelligentsia” of white, English-speaking countries, it may surprise many that recently we have witnessed, with our own eyes, the same criminal bastardry displayed twice.
The first time was on June 13th, 2025. The second was today.

I won’t fool myself into believing only a genius can perceive the equivalence between Pearl Harbor and the two attacks on Iran. They are obvious for anyone with a functional brain.
Further, I will admit it: It’s entirely possible for a moron like Anthony Albanese to be incapable of seeing what is there for all to see. You don’t need a close knowledge of that poor excuse for a man to know he not only is incapable of answering unscripted answers from the press. You know he barely manages to regurgitate the tripe from the cheat sheets his media minders force him to memorise before a presser.
Penny Wong is different. She is smart, at least smart enough. But even if she weren’t, her advisors in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade are paid to know the attack on Iran was an act of aggression. To wit:

“The Organization and its Members, in pursuit of the Purposes stated in Article 1, shall act in accordance with the following Principles.
(...)
“4. All Members shall refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state, or in any other manner inconsistent with the Purposes of the United Nations.”
To force a “negotiation” under the threat of a “massive armada”, as Donald Trump and his lackeys did with Iran – and Venezuela – has a name: racketeering, extortion. That’s something organised crime, and the US regime, do.
And to take advantage of a negotiation, however forced, to attack the other party is treachery.

Okay, some may say, but Khamenei was a criminal.
Well, I am not his defence attorney, so I won’t jump to his defence. So, fine, maybe he was. As extremely well-informed and savvy observers that I am sure those people are, I am happy to concede the point: they know better.
Moreover, let’s ignore the presumption of innocence (innocent until proven guilty).
Indeed, as I am unwilling to oppose any objection, let’s further concede: maybe the Iranian regimen is a satanic monstrosity.
That does not entitle anybody to send hitmen, however well-armed and trained and commanded, to murder Khamenei.
