
It’s Super (?) Tuesday, and my new cartoon for today’s Boston Globe illustrates just who … and what … some people are voting for.
I have not drawn the former guy since he left office. I didn’t want to give him any further attention, and, like many, wished he would go away. For over 3 years he has only appeared as a small silhouette, a dangling red tie, or the back of his head, if at all, in my cartoons. Sadly, he can no longer be ignored. I thought a lot about how to bring him back into my visual lexicon, and decided to play off the long-running meme, with him depicted as the object of infatuation.
