I’ve been thinking about the events that unfolded after British Prime Minister Liz Truss and her chancellor, Kwasi Kwarteng, released their so-called “mini budget.” It seems that almost everyone has embraced some version of this explanation: Truss/Kwarteng: “Behold, our economic plan!”
